Ingredients:
1 lb crab meat
1 cup breadcrumbs, divided
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
Olive oil, for frying
Instructions:
Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix crabmeat, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, beaten egg, "1920s Social Hour Spice Blend," parsley, and lemon juice. Mix gently but thoroughly.
Form Crab Cakes: Shape the mixture into small patties and coat with the remaining breadcrumbs.
Cook: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the crab cakes until golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Serve: Serve hot with lemon wedges and a side of remoulade or tartar sauce
