Southern Star Dust Spiced Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients:
8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
½ cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cocoa powder, for rolling
Finely crushed rose petals, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Do not boil.
Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
Add the vanilla extract and Southern Star Dust seasoning to the chocolate mixture. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm.
Once firm, use a small spoon or melon baller to scoop out portions of the chocolate mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls.
Roll each truffle in cocoa powder and garnish with crushed rose petals, if desired.
Store the truffles in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
