Maple Bacon Double Cheeseburgers
Ingredients
3 pounds of Ground Beef
Vegetable Oil, for the grill
12 slices Bacon, cut in half
3 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
Pepper
6 Sesame Hamburger Buns
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Ketchup
2 teaspoons Spicy Brown Mustard
1 teaspoon No. 9 Raleigh Rub Spice Blend
1 teaspoon of Hot Sauce of your choice
Sea Salt
12 slices Colby Jack Cheese
Pickle Chips, for topping
Instructions:
Make 12 thin, 4.5-inch beef patties, refrigerate for 30 minutes, and preheat the grill on high, oiling grates.
Cook bacon in a nonstick skillet on medium heat for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove, and save drippings.
Glaze bacon with maple syrup and pepper in a skillet for 1 minute. Brush buns with drippings
Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, No. 9 Raleigh Rub spice blend, and hot sauce.
Season patties with salt and pepper, grill for 2 minutes, flip, add cheese, and cook for 30 seconds. Toast buns. Assemble burgers with sauce, pickles, double patties, and bacon.
