Homemade Cheese Crackers
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup flour
6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled and cut into pieces
2 Tablespoons cold water
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
Gradually add the water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the mixture comes together as a dough. You may not need all of the water.
Divide the dough in half, form into two disks and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the chilled dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes (squares, triangles, etc.) and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crackers are golden brown.
Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving or storing in an airtight container. Enjoy!
