Carolina Crown Crystals Shrimp and Grits
Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp Carolina Crown Crystals
1 cup stone-ground grits
4 cups water
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
Cook grits in water according to package instructions until smooth and creamy.
Stir in cheddar cheese and 2 tbsp butter until fully melted.
Season shrimp with Carolina Crown Crystals.
In a skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
Serve shrimp over grits, garnished with green onions.
