Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Chai Pie Wallah seasoning
3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for rolling the cookies)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and Chai Pie Wallah seasoning. Set aside.
Cream the Butter and Sugar:
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the Egg and Vanilla:
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Form the Cookies:
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in the remaining 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar.
Bake:
Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers should still be soft.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your deliciously spiced sugar cookies!
